Our Preschool program serves children ages 3 to 5 years old. It focuses on problem solving and inquiry, while continuing to build communication skills and independence. When problems arise, children are guided and encouraged to brainstorm ideas and find solutions. Curriculum themes are based on questions and interests of the children and incorporate early literacy, math concepts, and basic science principles. Children are encouraged to master independence and self-help skills at mealtimes, toileting, and personal care. Communication skills are strengthened by mediating conflict, as well as opportunities for public speaking and sharing ideas.
